This HRF KTM exhaust side whip mount is designed specifically for the early model KTM's. It fits some of the 1998-2002 year models as well as the 2003-2010 125-530cc models. It bolts up in-between the sub-frame and the muffler. There is no modification of the bike of any kind. Just remove the 2 muffler fastener bolts and slide the HRF whip mount in-between the muffler and sub-frame, then reinstall the bolts and tighten securely.
Notice: This whip mount will not work with bikes that have blinkers on the rear fender.
**** HRF RECOMMENDS USING A 1/4" OR 5/16" THICK SAFETY FLAG. DO NOT USE THE BIG 3/8" THICK BUGGY/TRUCK FLAGS. THESE ARE TOO BIG FOR BIKES ****NOTE: The HRF Quick Release flag holder shown in the pictures is sold separately.
