This whip mount is made specifically for the 2016-2018 Kawasaki KX450F and the 2017-2019 KX250F. It bolts up to the exhaust mount bolt and the lower fender bolt. Just remove your right side number plate panel, then remove the exhaust mounting bolt and the lower fender bolt. Slide the HRF whip mount between the sub-frame and the muffler, reinstall the exhaust mounting bolt and the lower fender bolt. Now just reinstall the number plate and you are ready to go.

**** HRF RECOMMENDS USING A 1/4" OR 5/16" THICK SAFETY FLAG. DO NOT USE THE BIG 3/8" THICK BUGGY/TRUCK FLAGS. THESE ARE TOO BIG FOR BIKES ****

Not a direct bolt on

Thought I would be able to just remove two bolts and install this in a few minutes. Unfortunately not the case. Did not line up and I had to drill new holes to get this to fit. A bit disappointing given the price and advertisement of just being bolt on.
